Wet Dream Wednesday, December 1, 2010 @ 12:50pm EST
From the Desk of Maven T. Bentley, Esq. on this 1st of December, 2010:
Combat
Zone Wrestling fans, what I am about to say is a little embarrassing…
I, even in my mid thirties still experience nocturnal emissions… Although
they no longer involve me and Halle Berry (note to reader, I still
dream about Halle Berry but my wife tends to wake me up before it gets
good), I will admit to still having “wet dreams”. My dreams now revolve
around other scantly clad people: Jon Moxely and Homicide. Ever
since Homicide interrupted DJ Hyde at the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Show, I
had anticipated this match up. I literally dream about it. Imagine
Homicide, a man who has done it all in this business, except become a
champion in the greatest hybrid wrestling organization in the world,
CZW, taking on our champion. Homicide did not earn the nickname “Notorious 187” by being a gentleman. He is a monster in that ring and will look to “kill any gringo” in his path.
Jon Moxley is CZW’s “clutch player”. Since the dissolution of the SwitchBlade Conspiracy, Mr. Moxley has had to prove that he can be a champion on his own. I
must admit that he has shown a cool, collected, even temperament when
things look the bleakest for him. When his signature maneuvers like the
hook and ladder fail him, he does not become flustered. He simply finds another way to win. In
fact, since regaining the world heavyweight title from Nick Gage, his
collected nature has allowed him to see openings that most competitors
would not even look for. It’s almost fitting that
he has won his last title defenses via school boys, roll ups, and small
packages, out waiting his opponents.
I cannot pick a winner in this one, but I am sure my bed sheets will be wet. I love the Combat Zone!
