The Future of the Junior Heavyweights

It was not that long ago that we saw the debut of Adam Cole in the Combat Zone. It was not that long ago when we thought that he was just another scrawny kid wanting to “play wrestler.” However, one week ago that “kid” became a man and became Best of the Best X Champion! On Saturday May 14th you will see two more “kids” start their quest to become Junior Heavyweight Stars in CZW! Rich Swann returns to the Asylum Arena to take on Alex Colon!

Alex Colon was just one match away from making it into his debut Best of the Best event. However, the cards just didn’t seem to fall into place as the now Best of the Best X finalist took his spot. Now Colon is even more miserable and driven than ever!

Rich Swann was also just one match away from making his premiere in Best of the Best. However, it wasn’t to be as the working man’s hero, Jonathan Gresham, took away his chance! When Rich Swann returned from his tour of Japan, he was welcomed home with a shot at the Junior Heavyweight Championship… But it wasn’t to be either as Adam Cole still reigns supreme.

Both men now enter the Combat Zone on May the 14th looking to get back onto their winnings way. Both men are now in the boat that Adam Cole was once in… Could the winner of this match become Best of the Best 11? Only time will tell, but what we will see is the future of Junior Heavyweight Wrestling at its best on May 14th at PROVING GROUNDS!
