At Prelude to Violence on June 11, CZW will offer one man the chance to challenge for the CZW Wired TV Championship. CZW will offer 6 men that opportunity in a special 6-Man Young Athletes Rising Fast Match. The winner of that match will challenge for the championship at a future CZW Event. The first four participants in this match have been announced as Ryan McBride, Ty Hagen, VSK and Ricky Reyes. Today, CZWrestling.com has learned that CZW Officials have chosen their final two as Ryan Eagles, and “The Warrior” Akuma.
Since returning to the Combat Zone, Ryan Eagles has been impressing people left and right. As much as Eagles has been impressing the crowds in the Asylum Arena with his athleticism, he has been something of an enigma. Not many are sure what to think of Eagles. He destroyed the young Kit Osbourne on an episode of Wired TV, which many thought was cruel display. But then he stood head-to-head with the then CZW Tag Team Champion, Mark Briscoe. No matter if you like the guy or hate the guy, you have to like his chances as becoming a future Wired TV Champion.
The sixth man in this match is in a must win situation. Akuma who returned to CZW back in November went from being unstoppable to unable to win. After suffering his first loss at Best of the Best X we saw his mistress, Kimber Lee, go berserk. From there it has only gotten worse for Akuma. In a recent video released, Kimber Lee once again as threatened to sever ties with Akuma which could possibly lead to the end of Akuma’s tenure with CZW. A win and a possible title reign would surely please Kimber Lee going into “The Summer of Ultraviolence.”
Could one of these men become the NEW star of Wired TV? Remember though, there will be four other men standing in both Eagles’ and Akuma’s way on June 11th. Stay logged onto CZWrestling.com to find out who the last two men chosen will be. Also be sure to visit the CZW Pro Shop to purchase your tickets as CZW kicks of its “Summer of Ultraviolence!”
