The Eyes of the World are on the Combat Zone
Friday, September 30, 2011 @ 09:52am EDT

Over the years, many international wrestling promotions have realized that there is an international fan base for their brand of pro wrestling.  Over the last year, Combat Zone Wrestling has forged great business relationships with promotions like Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Fight Club: Pro, and Big Japan Wrestling.  Thanks to those relationships, the great fans of the Combat Zone have witnessed some of the best international talents come to the United States and compete in five star contests.  Also thanks to those relationships, the stars of the Combat Zone have been able to bring a taste of ultraviolence to England, Germany, and Japan.  But on December 3rd, just hours prior to the legendary Cage of Death event this relationship gets even stronger!

At the conclusion of the Kamikaze Deathmatch at Down With The Sickness, CZW Owner, DJ Hyde, came out not only to congratulate MASADA and Ryuji Ito on yet another five star match…  But to also announce the International Wrestling Summit to take place Cage of Death Weekend!  He announced that Japanese promotions Kaientai Dojo (K-Dojo), Dramatic Dream Team (DDT), FREEDOMS, and Big Japan Wrestling would be coming into the Asylum Arena to kick off Cage of Death XIII with an International Wrestling Summit.  This is ground breaking for the American wrestling audience, as most promotions in America operate independently of each other.  However, this is somewhat of a tradition in the Japanese wrestling culture. has learned of some of the talents that will be coming to compete in the International Wrestling Summit.  K-Dojo has chosen Kengo Mashimo to represent them.  Meanwhile, KUDO and Danshoku Dino have been chosen to represent DDT.  FREEDOMS has pick a familiar face to the Combat Zone, Jun Kasai, as well as Takashi Sasaki and Kamui to represent them.  Finally, Big Japan Wrestling has also chosen two men very familiar with the Combat Zone; Ryuji Ito and Jaki Numazawa.

Keep checking out for the latest event information regarding the International Wrestling Summit as well as Cage of Death XIII.  And be sure to get your tickets online at the CZW Pro Shop when they become available, because this will be one event you will NOT want to miss!
