The Battle of Women's Suffrage in CZW

CZW Officials have made more match announcements in regards to September 8th’s Down With the Sickness iPPV on HybridENT.tv from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. After their encounter last month at Tangled Web 5, Drew Gulak will team with his newest Campaign associate, Kimber Lee, to take on Greg Excellent and Mia Yim in an Intergender Tag Team Match.

Earlier this month at Tangled Web 5, Drew Gulak made the Combat Zone aware of his belief that the women of CZW were not given equal treatment. He then introduced Kimber Lee as the newest member of his Campaign for a Better Combat Zone, under the title of Director of Women’s Suffrage. Agreeing with Gulak’s opinion or not, he did pick the best woman for the job. Kimber Lee has always made it known that she is in control of every situation she is in. When she first arrived on the scene, she introduced “HER Warrior.” When that situation did not pan out for her in the end, it wasn’t the warrior who remained a part of the Combat Zone… She did! Most recently she managed the now defunct Runaways. Many believe that the only reason they are not a team is because she was absent at ringside when Joe Gacy brutally assaulted Ryan Slater. Clearly, Kimber Lee is truly a woman who knows how to get things done.

However, Kimber Lee is not the only female to “get things done.” Mia Yim over the course of one TLC Match back at Aerial Assault went from being the most despised female in all of wrestling, to the most respected. She became “one of the boys” so to speak that night in March. After fighting in that brutal contest, she thanked Greg Excellent for treating her like “every other wrestler.” It something rare to see amongst the chaos of the Combat Zone, but on that night a true friendship was born. If anyone can counter Kimber Lee, it surely is the “Blasian Sensation.”

Essentially this battle is over whose idea of women’s wrestling is the right vision. On Saturday September 8th, you can pick the side you believe in the most.
