Yet another match has been signed for the already stacked WrestleCon line-up. CZW Officials have signed a HUGE Eight Man Tag Team Match for the April 5th event. This Eight Man Tag will pit the Campaign for a Better Combat Zone against their former “business partners” the Front at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ.[more]
CZWrestling.com has been able to confirm yet another match for CZW Wanted on March 9th from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. The Campaign for a Better Combat Zone led by Drew Gulak will compete in Tag Team Action against Jake and Dave Crist of Ohio Is For Killers.[more]
It has not been a good campaign season for Drew Gulak. Shortly after announcing its newest member, Kimber Lee, the Campaign has been struck with one set back after another. But Drew Gulak has vowed to forge ahead with his message. Next Saturday at Cerebral, Gulak will be out to avenge the fallen Mr. Tofiga when he faces the Latin Dragon.[more]
For those in attendance Saturday at Redemption, it was clear that Mr. Tofiga took a misstep and injured himself during his match with the Latin Dragon. EMTs and doctors on hand at the Ultraviolent Underground were able to quickly service Tofiga. It was determined at that time that Mr. Tofiga injured his quadriceps. In episode 8 of the CZW Wired Podcast that was released earlier this week, we saw an interesting idea proposed by CZW's own deathmatch drunkard, DANNY HAVOC to his fellow Nation of Intoxication brethren. Given their activities outside of the ring, there is always a good chance of impairment among the members. It was with this in mind that the Nation went to CZW Vice President MAVEN BENTLEY with a document citing that the championships could be defended under "Freebird Rules". What this means is that any 2 of the 3 members of the Nation of Intoxication can defend the championship; it's not limited to just LUCKY 13 & DEVON MOORE. Next week at "Down With the Sickness", the combination of Devon Moore & Danny Havoc will defend the championships against the Gulak Campaign's ALEXANDER JAMES & MR. TOFIGA.
