Due to circumstances beyond the control of Combat Zone Wrestling, Maven Bentley Association, and the VOGT Recreation Center, the Spring Cleaning event scheduled for Friday May 23rd will be postponed until the fall. To make up for this, the will be a raffle THIS SATURDAY at Proving Grounds! All proceeds from this raffle will go to benefit Autism Speaks. CZW once again teams up with the Maven Bentley Association to present a benefit event. This event takes place on Friday October 4th at the Vogt Rec. Center in Philadelphia with a 7:15 PM belltime. Officials have confirmed two matches for this event to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. The first match will be the Latin Dragon taking on Xavier Cross. Also in a main event caliber match, the Bulldozer Matt Tremont will take on Drew Blood! Admission is free with a $10 donation in support of the Walk to End Alzheimer's. For those following the Combat Zone over the last few weeks already know of MASADA's knee injury which has prevent him from competing in the last two CZW events. Despite doctors orders, MASADA entered the Ultraviolent Underground at Tournament of Death XII during Drew Gulak's match against Chris Dickinson. It was then that MASADA's knee was further damaged by Dickinson, forcing him to no longer put his surgery on hold. Due to the expensive nature of the surgery, CZW and the Maven Bentley Association will join forces on Friday July 19th at the Vogt Recreation Center for a special benefit.
