It was announce earlier today via the CZW Newsletter that at the Indie Summit on December 3rd, CZW’s Danny Havoc and BJW’s Ryuji Ito will now team up to take on Freedoms' Jun Kasai and BJW’s Jaki Numazawa in a SHATTERED DREAMS MATCH! For those unfamiliar, Shattered Dreams Matches are where pains of glass are not only legal, but used frequently as weapons! Both Numazawa and Kasai are looking to make their returns to Philadelphia more successful than their last time in the Combat Zone. However, they have a HUGE challenge ahead of them as they are facing the BJW Deathmatch Champion Ryuji Ito and a man who has put his problems with Drew Gulak aside, Danny Havoc. Tickets are on sale NOW at the CZW Pro Shop, but if you cannot make it out for this special afternoon event prior to Cage of Death 13 you will be able to watch the event LIVE on iPPV at HybridENT.tv!
Over the years, many international wrestling promotions have realized that there is an international fan base for their brand of pro wrestling. Over the last year, Combat Zone Wrestling has forged great business relationships with promotions like Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Fight Club: Pro, and Big Japan Wrestling. Thanks to those relationships, the great fans of the Combat Zone have witnessed some of the best international talents come to the United States and compete in five star contests. Also thanks to those relationships, the stars of the Combat Zone have been able to bring a taste of ultraviolence to England, Germany, and Japan. But on December 3rd, just hours prior to the legendary Cage of Death event this relationship gets even stronger![more]
The Combat Zone gathered at the Ultraviolent Underground in Townsend, Delaware to continue the Legacy of Blood and Glory! It was surely the bloodiest afternoon of the year that saw eight men compete for the right to claim the title of Tournament of Death X Champion! It was also a night that led to many revelations into CZW’s next event, New Heights, on July 9th from the Asylum Arena in South Philadelphia.[more]
If you've been following CZWrestling.com, you will have seen that shortly after "Prelude to Violence" this past weekend, the current CZW Ultraviolent Underground Champion DANNY HAVOC has officially entered "Tournament of Death X"
on Saturday, June 25th. The TOD 7 winner is one of three men in the
tournament looking to take home their second TOD win, a feat
accomplished only by CZW 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Wifebeater.[more]
It is well known now that CZW and Big Japan Wrestling have a working relationship as this trip featuring DJ Hyde, along with Danny Havoc, Drake Younger, and BLK Jeez is in return for BJW sending their top talent to compete in both Best of the Best X and Tournament of Death X. Earlier today, all four men stepped into the ring for BJW to give the Japanese just a small taste of the Combat Zone… And what a taste they got as CZW started the trip 2-0! Below is a full recap of the action that took place earlier today in Toyko.[more]
