Those who watched the WSU Queen & King of the RingCZWiPPV.com event witnessed MASADA and Christina Von Eerie take on Addy Starr and Matt Tremont in the first round of that tournament. During the closing moments of the match, MASADA could be seen favoring his right knee. The injury actually resulted in the Ultraviolent Beast not being able to answer the ten count. MASADA was immediately taken to the hospital were he was informed that he would need surgery to fix the injury. As of present time, there has been no timetable set on MASADA’s in-ring return. However, the CZW World Heavyweight Champion is still confirmed to represent the Combat Zone at the Lucha POP event in Mexico this weekend. Upon return from Mexico, MASADA will go into surgery. Also as of present time, CZW Officials have not made any comment regarding the CZW World Championship. The question remains, what will be the repercussions from this surgery? For those in attendance Saturday at Redemption, it was clear that Mr. Tofiga took a misstep and injured himself during his match with the Latin Dragon. EMTs and doctors on hand at the Ultraviolent Underground were able to quickly service Tofiga. It was determined at that time that Mr. Tofiga injured his quadriceps. As many are aware at this point, Uhaa Nation suffered an injury during the CZW/DGUSA Supershow in South Florida on Thursday. Nation suffered the injury to his knee during a high risk maneuver in his scheduled match. As a result of the injury, Nation will be unable to compete in this year’s Best of the Best. Nation visited a physician today and as of now the news is not good, this injury could keep the hottest prospect in wrestling sideline for up to one year.
