Meanwhile, BLK OUT’s suspension has been temporarily been lifted so that they can challenge The Catalyst for the Tag Team Championships. If BLK OUT wins, not only will they legally be allowed to carry the Tag Team Championship belts they will also be reinstated on the Combat Zone Roster. Yesterday, CZWrestling.com received footage from the personal YouTube account of BLK Jeez. This footage showed a secret meeting between CZW Vice President Maven Bentley and Manager of BLK OUT Robbie Mireno. The video suggests that CZW and BLK OUT have come to terms about BLK OUT’s future in Combat Zone Wrestling. The video suggests a future Tag Team Championship match in BLK OUT’s future. CZWrestling.com has learned that Dustin Rayz and Eric Ryan will defend their newly won Tag Team Championships at Wanted on March 9th. They will defend their championships against the former champions, the Nation of Intoxication (Devon Moore and Lucky 13).[more]
CZWrestling.com has been able to confirm that there will indeed be a Tag Team Championship Match at 14 on February 9th from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. In a four way dance, the Nation of Intoxication will defend the titles against OI4K, 4Loco, and a fourth team to be named later. Interesting to note, it has been reported that the original plan was for BLK OUT to be the fourth team in this huge contest.[more]
It was at Cage of Death 14 that BLK OUT, specifically the actions of BLK Jeez, nearly caused a riot. Due to those actions, the #1 Contenders Match between OI4K and BLK OUT was immediately halted. Prior to Ascension, CZW Vice President Maven Bentley came out to address the CZW audience in regards to BLK OUT. Bentley announced to the live crowd that he “wanted to ensure the fans would be safe at ringside.” He went to say, “Due to the unprofessional actions of our performers collectively known as the BLK OUT, last month at Cage of Death I had no choice but to release BLK OUT from Combat Zone Wrestling. Until such time, a hearing can be had to determine if they can wrestle safely here again.”[more]
