Swann Gets His Rematch!

Over the weekend, CZWrestling.com learned that Rich Swann had asked CZW Officials for a rematch against Shane Strickland. CZW Officials have granted Swann a rematch against Strickland at the next iPPV, Down With The Sickness, airing on September 8th LIVE on HybridENT.tv from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.

This rematch comes after the much anticipated first match between the two men at Tangled Web 5. Many saw that match as a showcase to the future of the high flying style. However, Swann saw the match as an easy way to reintroduce himself to the CZW audience. Unfortunately for Swann, Strickland saw the match as a way to make a name for himself. And that is exactly what happened! Strickland surprised everyone by defeating the world traveled Swann in his return match. The loss actually led to Swann losing his temper for the first time in recent memory. He refused to show his respect to Strickland, and stormed from the ring. But now Swann has to re-group and get re-focused as he takes Strickland on again in less three weeks time at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.
