Sibling Rivalry?

2011 has been quite a year for the current CZW Wired TV Champion JAKE CRIST. Ever since making a standout appearance this past April in Best of the Best X & capturing his first championship in an upset victory a couple months later, the CZW fans have been abuzz about this newcomer. However, one has to wonder if jealousy is rearing its ugly head in the Combat Zone. Making his presence known since his brother captured the most exciting championship in professional wrestling has been DAVE CRIST, Jake's older brother. Often saying things like "we won" & interfering in matches on his brother's behalf, some have claimed that Dave has ulterior motives.

Growing up, the Crist brothers began their own backyard promotion along with some of their friends. They became popular with the community & local media outlets, eventually catching the eye of their eventual trainer, Bill Kovaleski, & Shark Boy. Making their way through various promotions, they honed their craft. Finding success together, the Crists would find a home in our mid-west partner Insanity Pro Wrestling. Taking the promotion by storm as THE IRISH AIRBORNE, Dave & Jake have built themselves quite a resume. Dave is the 2004 & 2006 IPW Jr. Heavyweight Tournament winner & a 2 time IPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Jake is the 2005 tournament winner & a 3 time Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Together, they have 2 reigns as the IPW Tag Team Champions. United, it appears there's nothing they can't accomplish.

The Irish Airborne will be in action on November 5th at Déjà Vu, CZW's long awaited return to Indianapolis. Jake & Dave need to find common ground and get on the same page here in the Combat Zone. Both men certainly have what it takes to become singles champions or reign a top of the tag team division. Jake is already on the path of success as the reigning Wired Champion. But if sibling rivalry gets the better of these two talented athletes, any success they could potentially achieve together here may be thrown away.
