While many of you have had the luxury of a three day weekend for the Labor Day holiday, attempting to soak up the last bit of rays for the summer, we here in the Combat Zone haven’t stopped working! Over the long weekend, CZW Officials have made a few match announcements for THIS SATURDAY’S CZW event following footage released on CZW’s official YouTube page. The two matches announced are Danny Havoc vs. Mr. Tofiga, and BLK OUT vs. The Runaways.
The first match, Havoc vs. Tofiga, is a match that has been in the making all summer long. Obviously for much of 2011, Drew Gulak has made it clear that he has had enough of the Ultraviolent style that has defined the Combat Zone for its 12 year history. At Tournament of Death X, Tofiga attack Havoc in his first round match and cost him the Tournament of Death X trophy! At Tangled Web 4, as Tofiga laid waste to all the CZW hopefuls Havoc came in to put a stop to the assault. However, the plan backfired as Tofiga was unfazed by the TWO chair shots he took! Now Havoc really wants to find out how TOUGH Tofiga really is as he takes him on THIS SATURDAY at Down with the Sickness.
After starting off 2011 as internet sensations, The Runaways have been on a bit of losing streak lately. On the other hand, BLK OUT have been unstoppable since the relaunch. Some believe that if it weren’t for the Runaways, BLK OUT would be the #1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship. Because of that belief, CZW Officials have signed the match between the two teams for THIS SATURDAY. The only difference this time is that it looks like Kimber Lee now has an interest in The Runaways. Find out who will win in this Tag Team Grudge Match THIS SATUDAY!
