If you've been following CZWrestling.com, you will have seen that shortly after "Prelude to Violence" this past weekend, the current CZW Ultraviolent Underground Champion DANNY HAVOC has officially entered "Tournament of Death X"
on Saturday, June 25th. The TOD 7 winner is one of three men in the
tournament looking to take home their second TOD win, a feat
accomplished only by CZW 2009 Hall of Fame inductee Wifebeater.
To accomplish this goal, Havoc must go through a man making his CZW
debut. Representing our international partner Big Japan Pro Wrestling, JAKI NUMAZAWA
plans on eliminating Havoc in the first round & taking the TOD
trophy back to the Land of the Rising Sun. For those unfamiliar with
Numazawa, he has held the BJW Tag Team Championship 4 times (once with Abdullah Kobayashi & 3 times with Jun Kasai) & the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Championship one time.
Advancement
to the second round is not going to come easy for either man. The
opening round stipulation for Havoc vs. Numazawa, in a non title
contest, will be LIGHT TUBE CELEBRATION! Bundles of light tubes
and pits of Christmas bulbs will be the weapons of destruction for this
match! Two men will enter. Both will take their pound of flesh. One
will advance. If Havoc can eliminate Numazawa, he finds himself one
step closer to this second TOD win. If Numazawa eliminates Havoc, he
will undoubtedly gain bragging rights for eliminating the UVU Champion
& will be one step closer to winning his first TOD.
