CZWrestling.com just released footage of DJ Hyde receiving stitches after his Ultraviolent Match with Little Mondo at Prelude to Violence. After being confronted by Sami Callihan, Hyde muttered that he will see “That piece of sh*t and that fat f*cker at Tournament of Death.” CZWrestling.com has confirmed that all three men will be at the Ultraviolent Underground this Saturday, but what exactly does the Boss have in store for Callihan and Greg Excellent?
For the last few months, Greg Excellent has been at war with Hyde over many things; his treatment of the talent and overall management style. It was only a few weeks ago that all of Excellent’s rants were proven true when Hyde ensured Adam Cole walked out of Proving Grounds the CZW Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Since that time, Excellent has become like a Guardian Angel for the Combat Zone. Excellent aided Mondo in his quest to enter Tournament of Death X. Now, Excellent has no problem stepping into the ring with both Callihan and Hyde, because Excellent and Callihan shared a Mountain Dew and put aside their past differences before leaving the Arena last week.
Callihan’s issues with Hyde go back a few years now. But most recently, Hyde’s actions in matches involving Adam Cole have really been what set him off. At Best of the Best X, Callihan had Adam Cole tapping out to the Stretch Muffler while the referee was incapacitated. That in and of itself is a fairly normal occurrence in wrestling matches, what isn’t normal is to have the Owner of the company sitting at ringside and not stopping the match. It was at Proving Grounds where DJ Hyde interjected himself into Cole’s match and Lariated AR Fox and essentially lariated his Jr. Championship hopes! Callihan has no problem going to war with the Boss, he’s done it in the past and he will do it again at Tournament of Death X this Saturday!
