Fox Has His First Challenger!

It was announced earlier this week on the CZW Press Release that 4Loco’s Alex Colon will challenge AR Fox for his newly won CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship. This match will in fact be their third encounter in recent months, but this will be on LIVE iPPV for the first time on Saturday August 11th on HybridENT.tv!

Both men have been having a spectacular year; in fact their paths have been almost identical. Both men both proved worthy enough to compete in Best of the Best XI earlier this year. It was at that tournament that both men cemented themselves as the future of CZW. It is because of their similar tracks to the top of the Junior Heavyweight Division in CZW, they have had a bit of a professional rivalry. They first squared off with one another at Cinco De Mayo in Indiana this past May. It was there Alex Colon shockingly rolled through the trademark Low Mein Pain and pinned AR Fox. They squared off a month later at Prelude to Violence in Indiana. This time AR Fox took the victory in this early Match of the Year Candidate.

But it is now time for their third encounter of 2012, this time it is very different. AR Fox goes into the match as CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion after using his People’s Choice Award privilege against Sami Callihan. Alex Colon since their last encounter cemented 4Loco as a dominate force in the Combat Zone. Who will come out on top as CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion after this “rubber” match?
