7/9 - CZW News and Notes: New Matches announced for 'HOME SWEET HOME', ACIDFEST, and more!
- We are now less than 24 hours away from one of the most memorable and historic days in South Philly wrestling history. The action kicks off tomorrow at 2:30PM as CZW and the wrestling world will come together at the Arena to celebrate the memory of South Philly's own Trent Acid. Trent's friends, and stars from around the world will convene on The Arena for a very emotional tribute to the fallen Philadelphia legend. Then, at 7:30PM, the action continues as CZW celebrates a very special milestone, as we present our 106th show at the famed Arena, titled 'Home Sweet Home', officially marking the most shows ever run by a single promotion at the one time bingo hall.
Combat Zone management is excited about this accomplishment, and hope to provide an event worthy of such an achievement that you the CZW fans deserve, because after all, we couldn't have done it without you!
Over at CZWrestling.com, a number of new and exclusive promos have aired from the CZW locker room. Among them are those naming a few of the participants in the two separate '1 in 8 chance' matchups. Early this afternoon, CZWrestling.com has received the complete list, selected at random, for the both 4-Way Matchups. The matchups are as follows:

CZW Wired Champion Drew Gulak recently took part in a special video shoot with MTV. The angry young member of Rush Wrestling Enterprises was tapped to host a special edition of MTV U's 'Dean's List' video countdown, which coincides with the debut of MTV2's upcoming series titled 'Lucha Libre USA', which premieres on July 16th at 10pm on MTV2. Drew's edition of 'Dean's List' the entire week of July 12th on MTV U, and will also be available for viewing on mtvU.com.
