Just as the 105 shows before it, the CZW fans got just what they expected, and left the Arena talking about another action packed night of Ultraviolence. Let's take a quick look back at the results...

- There were plenty of big stories coming out of this past Saturday's event. The biggest perhaps was the result of the highly anticipated 'Loser Must Retire' match between former partners and best friends - Devon Moore and Drew Blood. After a hard fought, and very emotional battle, Moore scored the victory after putting Blood thru a pane of glass. After the contest, the Notorious Duo once again shared a final embrace. Moments later, the CZW locker room joined with the fans to send Drew Blood off with an emotional farewell, and a thank you for all his contributions to both the company, and the South Philly wrestling scene. From everyone in the Combat Zone locker room, Drew will be missed greatly.

- Another huge story to come out of 'Home Sweet Home' was the successful debut of the '1 in 8 Chance' matchups. Tyler Veritas and Sabian won their respective opening Four-Way's for the right to meet later in the night. In that contest, Veritas pulled off the relative upset, sending the 'Blk Jeez' to a very dissapointing defeat, and elevating Veritas to a position of great leverage as he now has the right to a title shot at any place, and any time. When will 'HD' cash in, and who will be his opponent? We will find out... sometime....

- CZW Owner DJ Hyde addressed the faithful, and delivered a few big news updates regarding the latest happenings in the Combat Zone. First, DJ Hyde announced that effective immediately, Eddie Kingston has left the company. As a result, the tag team titles have been stripped, and will be put up for a grabs in a Tag Team Tournament which will begin in August, and ultimately culminate with new Champions being crowned at December's Cage of Death spectacular. The first team to qualify, per their win over Drake Younger and B-Boy is former champions, 'The Best Around'.

- DJ Hyde's other big news update was the announcement of CZW's upcoming debut in New England. On October 16th, CZW will invade Tyngsboro, MA with a night of high flying, intense, action packed Ultraviolence that you have come to expect from the Combat Zone. Stay tuned to CZWrestling.com for more information on this groundbreaking event. - Following Hyde's announcements, he was brutally and viciously attacked by the Switchblade Conspiracy's Sami Callihan and Joe Gacy. The duo tied DJ to the ring posts and delivered one of the most graphic and disturbing barbed-wire beatdowns in South Philly Arena history. The aftermath of the ambush can be seen now in an CZWrestling.com exclusive, where the CZW owner appears to officially lay the groundwork for the main event of August's South Philly return. According to the video, it seems as though DJ Hyde and his partner Greg Excellent will meet the Switchblade Conspiracy on August 14th in a 'Tangled Web 3'!

- Saturday marked the suprising and very special return of former CZW World Champion, B-BOY! The New Age Punisher returned to CZW to the raucous approval of the CZW fans, taking the back of his longtime friend and rival, Drake Younger, and showing that despite a small break, he hasn't lost a step. What does the future hold for B-Boy in the Combat Zone? Time will tell. Stay tuned for more from the 'New Age Punisher'.

- 'Home Sweet Home' was a rough night for Cult Fiction. In addition to their devastating loss at the hands of TOD Champion Scotty Vortekz and Danny Havoc, the Cult may have lost a more important piece of the puzzle. Reports have begun to surface that Cult leader 'Halfbreed' Billy Gram has quit the Combat Zone over a 'disgust' for current management, and the treatment of his clan. CZWrestling.com will attempt to bring you more details on this situation as they become available.

- As mentioned previously on CZWrestling.com, CZW Wired Champion Drew Gulak will be featured all week on MTV, and over at MTVU.com as he hosts a special Top 10 Countdown to help promote MTV's new 'Lucha Libre Usa' series, coming soon to MTV2. - CZW also wants to thank the nearly 800 people who came out to support Saturday afternoon's 'Acidfest' event. Together, we celebrated the memory of Michael 'Trent' Verdi, and remembered all the good times we shared over his legendary wrestling career. Thanks to your help and support, over $7,000 was raised and donated directly to Trent's family to help cover funeral expenses and to get them thru this difficult time. In addition, Trent was memorialized indefinetly with his induction into the Arena Hall of Fame, where his banner will be raised and displayed amongst his fellow greats of the world famous Arena. As you showed on Saturday, his memory will never be forgotten.

- From here, all eyes are now turned towards CZW's highly anticipated debut in the Carolinas! On August 7th, CZW will debut at the Robeson County Fairgrounds in Lumberton, North Carolina for an evening of 'Southern Violence'! Just this afternoon, CZWrestling.com has learned of the first match signed for this explosive debut event... If you live in the area, you won't want to miss this event as CZW promises to deliver all the Ultraviolence you have come to love and expect from the Combat Zone.
