5/20 - CZW News and Notes: DYSFUNCTION returns to the Ultraviolent
Underground on June 26th at CZW's Tournament of Death 9, new episode of
WIRED and more!With the announcement of the first time ever matchup between MASADA and
ZANDIG and the American deathmatch debut of Big Japan's ABDULLAH
KOBAYASHI, June 26th's Tournament of Death 9 is already one of the most
talked about deathmatches in history. Today, CZWrestling.com has learned
that the tournament has just gotten a little more Ultraviolent with the
addition of the returning DYSFUNCTION to an already loaded TOD lineup!
Dysfunction
entered last year's Tournament of Death with a cloud of mystery over
his head, as at the time, fans on the east coast were mostly unfamiliar
with his fearless and unrelenting style. Just minutes into his match
with Danny Havoc however, the CZW fanbase learned just what the intense
midwest star was all about, as he went toe-to-toe and lighttube for
lighttube with one of CZW's best, proving that although he came up short
in the win column, he had what it takes to make it in the Combat Zone.
With chants of "please come back!", it was clear that Dysfunction had
made a name for himself, and earned the appreciation of wrestling
toughest fans. Now, a year later, Dysfunction is even hungrier to prove
himself in the Combat Zone, and moreso, determined to take home the most
coveted trophy in Deathmatch wrestling. As he likes to say, he's "in it
to win it", but only one man can leave the Ultraviolent Underground
with the Tournament of Death trophy. Will this be Dysfunction's year? We
will find out on June 26th in Townsend, Delaware!
