7/4 - CZW News and Notes: New Matches announced for "HOME SWEET HOME", and more!

- More than a week after Scotty Vortekz seemingly put an end to the battle between the Naptown Dragons and Cult Fiction with his decisive victory at TOD, CZWrestling.com has learned that the war is all but over. On July 10th, the teams will once again engage in Ultraviolent combat as TOD Champions DANNY HAVOC and SCOTTY VORTEKZ team up to take on Cult Fiction's MASADA and BRAIN DAMAGE in what should be a very brutal and intense tag team showdown. These four men have continually shown that there is nothing they won't do to get the upper hand in this rivalry, and we would expect nothing less when these teams collide again on July 10th at CZW's "Home Sweet Home".

- CZW wants to extend a special congratulations to Junior Heavyweight Champion Adam Cole for his appearance on this past Friday's edition of WWE Smackdown. The Combat Zone's blue chipper proved that hard work does pay off, and we here at CZW are confident that this is the just the first of what should be many appearances over a long and sucessful career. CZWrestling.com has also learned that the popular young Champion will be in action when CZW returns to South Philly on July 10th, taking on Cult Fiction's tHURTeen in a one-on-one contest. Can Cole keep the momentum going in his battle with this very unorthodox competitor? And perhaps more importantly, just what does Cult Fiction want with Adam Cole and the Junior Heavyweight Title? We will find out next Saturday at the CZW Arena.

- The CZW Wired Championship will also be on the line this coming Saturday as Rush Wrestling Enterprises' resident champ DREW GULAK returns to action on July 10th. The angry young star returns after a month off to face one of CZW's rising stars in JONATHAN GRESHAM. Can Gulak and his agent/consultant Rodney Rush keep the gold in the RWE family? Can Gresham seize a golden opportunity and cash in on his first chance at CZW gold? We find out on Saturday at "Home Sweet Home".

- As mentioned previously on CZWrestling.com , 8 lucky competitors selected at random will be in for a very special opportunity on July 10th. CZW Owner DJ Hyde has arranged for two separate Four-Way matchups, with competitors to be selected at random, who will meet in a pair of single elimination 4-ways. The winner of each individual 4-way will meet one-on-one later in the night with the winner receiving a Title Shot at any Champion, and at any time. The competitors will be announced this week on CZWrestling.com.

- And a reminder, the July 10th doubleheader will begin with a very special afternoon Memorial show to celebrate the life and memory of CZW and South Philly's own Trent Acid. At 230pm, Trent's friends will come together for a very special memorial show to remember their fallen friend. Those scheduled to appear include Homicide, B-Boy, Johnny Kashmere, Sonjay Dutt, Ruckus, Nick Gage and many many more. Stay tuned to CZWrestling.com in the coming days for more on "Acidfest".

- As previously mentioned, July 10th's evening show, appropriately titled "Home Sweet Home" will mark a very special milestone for Combat Zone Wrestling. With the completion of the event, CZW will have capped it's 106th show in the famed former "ECW Arena", moving 1 show ahead of the aforementioned former tenant, and certifying the famed warehouse on the corner of Swanson and Ritner as the undisputed home of the Combat Zone. With this special occasion in mind, CZW Management is working on a card that is worthy of such a notable accompishment.
