CZW News and Notes - New match added to CZW's return to South Philly this FRIDAY!

We are now less than 48 hours away from CZW’s huge return to South Philly this FRIDAY for “Down with the Sickness!”, and today, CZWrestling.com is abuzz with loads of breaking news and information regarding this huge event. Among the updates, the confirmation of 2 new matches, the return of WIRED, and a request from a CZW legend! Let’s review…

This Friday will mark the 5th anniversary of our celebration of the life of fallen CZW star Chris Cash. As always, the event will feature the annual Chris Cash Ladder Match, featuring the most jaw dropping and gravity-defying action in all of professional wrestling. As such, one of Cash’s best friends, former CZW World Champion RUCKUS, has made a special request to CZW Management. To honor his friend, the Combat Zone icon has asked for and been granted the opportunity to participate in the annual Cash Ladder Match, citing it as the perfect opportunity to honor the memory of his fallen brother. Ruckus will now join an already loaded contest which includes AR FOX, RICOCHET, ALEX COLON, tHURTeen and FAÇADE. Who will come out on top in wrestling’s most fearless contest?

-With RUCKUS’ addition to the Aerial Assault Ladder Match, CZW Management has decided to honor the request of another competitor, who was previously slated to perform in said match. That man, CHUCK TAYLOR, has notified management that he believes the Ladder Match is “beneath him”, and as such, he will not be participating in the match “with the flippy guys”. Because of Ruckus earlier request, CZW officials have decided to grant Taylor’s wish, and have instead inserted him into a different match, one that may leave him wishing he wasn’t scheduled to attend the event at all. As announced first on CZWrestling.com, Taylor will now be a part of a special hard hitting 4-Way Showcase Match, which will feature CHUCK TAYLOR, JOKER, SAMI CALLIHAN, and the debuting JOHNNY GARGANO!

-CZW and HybrideEnt.TV are proud to announce the return of CZW WIRED TV! The Season 2 premiere is now streaming live at HybridEnt.TV, and features three huge matches available for the first time on the internet! On the program, you can look back as Ego Fantastico answers the challenge of Chris Hero, Drew Gulak defends the Wired Title vs. Andy Sumner, and Nick Gage faces Abdullah Kobayashi at the 2010 TOURNAMENT OF DEATH! WIRED is also your last stop to prepare for this weekend’s huge CZW return to Philly!

-On Thursday, September 16th, the MBA and CZW will again team up to present another special event for Charity at the Arena in South Philly. The event will be a benefit for Autism Awareness, and will begin at 7pm. Tickets for the event are free with a donation to the cause.
