As CZW prepares for it's big time May
8th return to South Philly, CZWrestling.com has learned of a number of a
new developments that will affect CZW both inside the ring, and outside
the ring as the Combat Zone continues to kick things into high gear for
what is shaping up to be an unforgettable 2010. Let's take a look at
some of the most recent items to come across our proverbial "desk"... -
CZWrestling.com is now able to confirm the news that CZW fans have been
waiting to hear for years. On May 4th, CZW's own NICK GAGE, THE NECRO
BUTCHER and Owner DJ HYDE will take part in BIG JAPAN WRESTLING's 15th
Anniversary Show in Yokohama, Japan! CZWrestling.com has learned that
Gage and DJ Hyde will team up with longtime fan favorite JUN KASAI to
meet Isami Kodaka, Masashi Takeda, and "Black Angel" Jaki Numazawa in a
Six Man "Barbed Wire Treaty" Match. In addition, CZW Owner DJ Hyde will
be holding a number of meetings with Big Japan management in an effort
to not only mend any damaged fences, but also to extend an olive branch,
and hopefully piece together the beginnings of a new, long, and
fruitful relationship between the world's two most Ultraviolent
promotions. CZWrestling.com will be your exclusive source for all
breaking news and info regarding CZW's big trip to the land of the
rising sun.
- CZW World Champion JON MOXLEY has contacted CZW
Management in the last few hours, still angry, and spiteful towards
owner DJ Hyde and Commissioner Maven Bentley over what he feels "they"
did to the Switchblade Conspiracy at April's event. Citing what he has
referred to as "other opportunities", Moxley has advised CZW officials
that he will not be attending May's "Fist Fight" event, and will return
to CZW with his title when he feels the time is right. Needless to say,
CZW management is very upset with Moxley's latest promise.
CZWrestling.com will attempt to catch up with all parties for further
explanation when the opportunity presents itself.

In a bit of unfortunate news, CZWrestling.com has learned today that
former CZW Wired Champion TYLER VERITAS will be out of action for up to
six weeks with a broken foot. The young star injured his foot in a Tag
Team contest this past Sunday at the MBA's event in South Philadelphia.
CZW wishes Tyler the best in his recovery, and look forward to his
return to the black and yellow ring when his foot has returned to 100%.

has made it known that he believes he is in line for a title shot in the
very near future. With a Best of the Best Championship, Jr. Heavyweight
Title reign, and the support of the fans behind him, it's safe to say
