It has been known for a few weeks now that MASADA will be defending the CZW World Heavyweight Championship at New Heights on July 14th LIVE on iPPV at HybridENT.tv. However, it has only recently come to light that AR Fox will be the man to accept the open challenge put out by the Ultraviolent Beast.
Some may be calling AR Fox crazy for accepting the open challenge of the Back-To-Back Tournament of Death Champion, however Fox wouldn’t have it any other way. In fact, many experts believe that this may actually be the best time for Fox to challenge for the World Championship. It was well documented on HybridENT.tv during the iPPV broadcast of Tournament of Death XI that MASADA injured HIMSELF during the semi-finals. The injury came when MASADA punched through a pane of glass during his match with Abdullah Kobayashi. MASADA cut his forearm enough for the nurse, EMTs, Vice President of CZW Maven Bentley, and CZW Owner DJ Hyde to not clear MASADA to compete. Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly depending on who you talk to, MASADA was able to combat the pain and defeat Drake Younger in the Unsanctioned Finals. With MASADA being the private person that he is, CZWrestling.com is unsure if the World Champion even went to the hospital after Tournament of Death XI. But what is known is MASADA’s forearm is NOT at 100%. If AR Fox can isolate that arm and keep up his speed, Fox could very well be the first man to pin MASADA in over ONE YEAR.
But then again, this is MASADA… This is the man that has wrestled with a broken leg. This is the man that wrestled one week ago with a wound bad enough to not allow officials to clear him for competition in the finals… But did it anyway! Quite frankly this is a man that people are beginning to believe cannot be beat. AR Fox may very well have signed his death certificate… OR… Did AR Fox pick the perfect moment to strike? Find out on July 14th!
