Wired TV Championship Match Scheduled, and more!

Earlier today the CZW Newsletter released information regarding CZW’s return “home” to the Asylum Arena in South Philadelphia on September 10th. Two matches that will be taped for an upcoming edition of Wired TV are now scheduled to take place as part of Down with the Sickness in two and half weeks! The first match will pit Latin Dragon against Alex Payne. The other match will pit the winner of the Aerial Assault, Chrisjen Hayme, against the current CZW Wired TV Champion, Jake Crist.

Alex Payne comes from to the Combat Zone having competed in various promotions across the United States. Payne has seen much success and even championship gold; however the Combat Zone is a much different beast. Meanwhile, Latin Dragon who is very new to the Combat Zone himself returns to action after competing in the Aerial Assault Match. Dragon has been turn heads since his debut on Wired TV, having not been pinned yet! Who will come out on top and possibly make their mark on Wired TV?

Talk about “expect the unexpected”… That seems to be the new motto of Wired TV and its championship! It was only April when we were introduced to the current CZW Wired TV Champion, Jake Crist. It was only a month ago that we were also introducing Chrisjen Hayme to the Combat Zone… Come September 10th, these two men will be headlining CZW’s flagship program! Hayme is coming off an impressive and shocking victory at Tangled Web 4 in the Aerial Assault match. Meanwhile, Jake Crist, one half of the Irish Airbourne, is coming off his first victory in the Combat Zone at New Heights, which coincidentally won him the Wired TV Championship. Both men still have a lot to prove to the fans of the Combat Zone, and what better way to make an impact than at the event where new stars are discovered every year, Down with the Sickness?
