AR Fox Set to Defend the CZW Wired TV Championship
Thursday, October 25, 2012 @ 07:39pm EDT

It was announced earlier this week via the CZW Newsletter that AR Fox will be returning to the Combat Zone on November 10th, after a lengthy tour of Japan.  Upon his return, Fox will be defending the newly won CZW Wired TV Championship in an Open Invitational Match at Night of Infamy.  The first two competitors to answer the invitation are Rich Swann and Shane Strickland.

This will be the first appearance in CZW for AR Fox since defeating Dave Crist in the spectacular Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match at Down With The Sickness in September.  As been documented, Fox has been on a successful tour of Japan with Dragon Gate Wrestling.  After seeing how much Fox improved after his first tour of Japan, one can only imagine how much more the holder of both the CZW Junior Heavyweight and Wired TV Championships has improved.

AR Fox isn’t the only one to come off a lengthy tour of Japan.  Rich Swann returned earlier this fall from his tour of Dragon Gate.  Although there was noticeable improvements in the repertoire of Mr. Standing 450, Swann unfortunately hasn’t seen that much success since returning.  He shocking lost to newcomer Shane Strickland, not once, but twice!  After those loses, the CZW audience has witnessed an angered and disrespectful Rich Swann for the first time ever.

But Swann’s anger may be justified after Strickland’s actions at Cerebral.  Strickland came out listening to music on his phone while taking pictures during Rich Swann’s tag team match!  Inevitably, this cost Swann and ACH the match!  But can one blame Strickland for the disrespect?  It was Swann who refused to shake the hand of Strickland, claiming it was because Strickland didn’t have the heart.  You can decide if Swann is right on that assessment after the actions at Cerebral.

Hostilities aside…  This is a HUGE opportunity for both men to capture CZW Gold for the first time in their careers.  But they have a huge challenge ahead of them in the form of the real life superman, AR Fox.  For tickets to Night of Infamy, visit the CZW Pro Shop.  Of course, you can always talk about this and other matches by "Liking" CZW on Facebook and/or Following CZW on Twitter @combatzone #CZW.
