The Top 10 of CZW – October, 2012
Tuesday, October 30, 2012 @ 03:02pm EDT

Each month, the staff at CZWrestling.com has been ranking the wrestlers of CZW based on their win-loss record, their place on the card, the crowd reaction they receive, any titles won or lost, and other intangible qualities that made that wrestler stick out from the pack.  Since its inception, this list has proved to be controversial; surely it will be very much the same this month.  Please remember, this list is not the official standings controlled by CZW Management.  Without further a due, this is the Top 10 of CZW for October, 2012.

CHAMPION – MASADA – The legend continues to grow as MASADA enters into Cage of Death season STILL CZW World Champion.  The list of competitors the Ultraviolent Beast has defeated is a Who’s Who, which now includes the legendary Necro Butcher.  MASADA successful in England is now heading for his next challenge in Germany.

#1 – (1) – AR Fox – Although Fox hasn’t competed in the Combat Zone since Down With The Sickness, however that doesn’t mean Fox doesn’t deserve the top spot.  Fox will be returning to defend his CZW Wired TV Championship at Night of Infamy after successfully concluding a lengthy stay in Japan with Dragon Gate.  After his last stay, a noticeable improvement was noticed which eventually led to all his success he now has in CZW.  With this new trip, Fox could become nearly impossible to defeat!

#2 – (2) – Sami Callihan – What more is there to say about the Callihan Death Machine?  Callihan continues to be the most in demand CZW competitor on the roster.  No matter where he goes, what he says, or what he does…  Crowds continue to chant his name.  This anarchist is in a scary position right now, as no one knows what his next goal is.  With CZW entering Cage of Death season coupled with Callihan’s history, Sami Callihan could be poised to make history once again!

#3 – (4) – Jake Crist – Now that Jake has reunited with his brother Dave, the two have become a noticeable threat to the Tag Team Champions.  Much like their leader Sami Callihan, no matter where they goes, what they say, or what they do…  Crowds continue to chant the name…  OI… 4K!

#4 – (5) – Dave Crist – See Jake Crist

#5 – (3) – DJ Hyde – Love him or hate him…  Hyde has proven his dominance in the Combat Zone.  Although the CZW Owner is now surrounded by controversy after firing Matt Tremont, Hyde continues to compete around the world successfully.

#6 – (6) – Joe Gacy – Gacy stays put on this month’s top ten after failing to capture the CZW World Championship at Redemption.  Even worse, it seems like his new, now seemingly former, manager Christina Von Eerie is more infatuated with MASADA then helping Gacy take his career to the next level.  Despite the setbacks, Gacy is still a top player now in the Combat Zone.

#7 – (9) – Drew Gulak – For those hoping that the Campaign For A Better Combat Zone would crumble with the injuries to Alexander James, Dewey Donovan, and Mr. Tofiga will now be upset to find out that Gulak’s Campaign has gotten even bigger!  At Cerebral earlier this month, it seemed like Niles Young and newcomer Biff Busick have align themselves with Drew Gulak.  But even worse, the Campaign got its biggest constituent to date, DJ Hyde!  Like it or not, Drew Gulak is here for the long run.  Just imagine what Gulak has planned heading into Cage of Death season!

#8 – (10) – Greg Excellent – Excellent has gotten back to his winning ways after defeating the returning BLK Jeez at Cerebral.  With that victory, Excellent returns to Europe to take part in the largest CZW Tour of Europe to date.  But the question now is, what awaits the Pride of Roscoe’s Chicken ‘n Waffles at Night of Infamy?

#9 – (-) – Alex Colon – Alex Colon, along with the rest of 4Loco, have finally gotten a one up on the Nation of Intoxication.  With the victory over Lucky 13, Colon was invited to Europe with the rest of top CZW Stars.  In the mind of many, Colon has finally arrived in CZW leading his own faction, defeating former World Champions, and now touring Europe.  But word has it; the Nation of Intoxication isn’t quite done with Alex Colon and 4Loco just yet.

#10 – (-) – Ruckus – BLK OUT is back!  Unfortunately for the Combat Zone, this isn’t the fan friendly BLK OUT the Combat Zone has been use to over the last year.  This is the original, down and dirty, win by any means necessary BLK OUT!  Ruckus began the second relaunch with a victory over Dustin Rayz.  Stay logged onto CZWrestling.com, as there will be coverage of this second relaunch.

Honorable Mention – (-) Pepper Parks – Parks may have lost to OI4K’s Sami Callihan at Cerebral, but it must be noted how he took the Death Machine to the limit.  Parks in only his second outing with the Combat Zone has definitely created a buzz in the CZW Locker Room and it is expected that he will be here for the long haul.

Dropped Off The List:
(7) – Matt Tremont –
Obviously the reasons for Tremont’s drop is solely because of his employment status with CZW.  Again CZWrestling.com wishes Tremont the best in his future endeavors.  But this won’t be the last we see mention of Tremont on CZWrestling.com as Tremont has been hired by wXw to compete as part of the wXw and CZW events in Germany.

Watch Out For:
BLK OUT –
As stated earlier, BLK OUT is back and they put the Tag Team Division on notice.  Stay logged onto CZWrestling.com, as there will be coverage of this second relaunch.
