Younger’s First Challenger

Last night it was announced via the CZW Newsletter, that Drake Younger will defend his newly won CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship against BLK Jeez THIS SATURDAY at Proving Grounds LIVE on iPPV at HybridENT.tv. This match will occur at the Parkwood Youth Organization in Northeast Philadelphia at 7:30 PM.

Over the last few months, Younger has made it a personal mission to reclaim “his” Combat Zone. As part of climbing to one of the peaks in CZW, Younger has humbled some of the talents who have let their success go to their head… Much like he did one year ago. Younger did just that in front of his hometown crowd at Cinco De Mayo when he defeated Sami Callihan. He plans to do that in Philadelphia THIS SATURDAY when he faces off against the most controversial CZW Wrestler on the roster, BLK Jeez.

This won’t be an easy task for Younger, as BLK Jeez is just as decorated as Younger in the Combat Zone. BLK Jeez recently won the Tag Team Championships adding to his collection that included the Best of the Best trophy as well as the championship he is challenging for this weekend, the CZW Junior Heavyweight Championship. Younger goes into this match as Junior Heavyweight Champion as well as a former Tournament of Death winner and longest reigning CZW World Champion in history! This will surely be an epic bout.

The deciding factor in this match could very well be the fans. Drake Younger by far is the most support athlete in all the Combat Zone. It wouldn’t be a CZW event if chants of “Drake, Drake, Drake” were not heard. Those chants are sure to be louder than ever when stepping into the ring with the most hated athlete in all of CZW.
