Results from Saturday’s Night of Infamy
Monday, November 14, 2011 @ 06:14pm EST

Night of Infamy may be over, but its impact will be felt all the way to the biggest event of the year, Cage of Death 13 on Saturday, December 3rd!  It was a night that Sami Callihan surely will never forget as he finally was able to grab the proverbial “brass ring.”  It was also a night where CZW saw not one but TWO returns!  The night was surely filled with men looking to earn their way onto the biggest event of the year, Cage of Death 13!

- Uhaa Nation def. Aaron McCormick
In his official Asylum Arena debut for CZW, Uhaa Nation defeated the equally impressive Aaron McCormick.  After the match, the fans of CZW were on their feet chanting, “Please come back!”

- Greg Excellent def. Mia Yim in an Intergender Match
In what some are calling the “Match of the Night,” Greg Excellent defeated Mia Yim with his patented Tiger Driver!  However, it wasn’t before Excellent was able to have some fun at the expense of Mia Yim by offering her a strip tease for her troubles.  Now, Excellent turns his attention to his match with DJ Hyde at Cage of Death 13 where he gets to choose the stipulation!

- The Nation of Intoxication (Danny Havoc & Lucky tHURTeen) def. The Gulak Campaign for a Better Combat Zone (Drew Gulak & Mr. Tofiga w/ “Full Price” Dewey Donovan)
Prior to the match, Alexander James joined the Gulak Campaign at ringside dressed quite similarly to Drew Gulak.  However, Dewey Donovan kicked him to the back.  After the victory, many believe it is the last Havoc and his “Nation” will have to deal with Gulak and his campaign.

- AR Fox defeated Ryan McBride to be named the #1 contender to the CZW Junior Heavyweight Title
Both men qualified for this match at Déjà Vu last week.  However, it was AR Fox who once again wowed the Combat Zone to be named #1 Contender.  It was announced via the CZW Newsletter that Fox would challenge Sami Callihan for the championship at Cage of Death 13!  After the match, Derek Frazier continued his assault McBride that began at Cerebral until CZW Official Drew Blood made the save.  Frazier then made mention that he would compete at Cage of Death 13!

- Azrieal & Bandido Jr. def. Philly’s Most Wanted (Joker & BLK Jeez) to become the NEW CZW Tag Team champions
Third time was a charm for Azrieal & Bandido Jr. as they finally put an end to the turf war that began back at International Incident over 6 months ago.  The victory was made even more sweet as Philly’s Most Wanted’s wish came true as Homicide came to the Combat Zone to not only accept their challenge but to distract the team long enough for Azrieal & Bandido Jr. to secure the victory.  After the match, Homicide announced that he would indeed accept Philly’s Most Wanted’s challenge at Cage of Death 13 with Eddie Kingston!

- CZW Wired TV champion Jake Crist showed footage of his brother, Dave, turning on him in Indianapolis. Crist then asked CZW owner, DJ Hyde, for a match with his brother at Cage of Death 13. Hyde granted but then proceeded to beat down the Wired TV Champion!  Luckily, Matt Tremont made the save and told the crowd he’s tired of DJ Hyde calling him “boy” and that no matter what “Trial” he throws at him he will accept and run through…  With his next Trial being against Danny Havoc at Cage of Death 13!

- BLK OUT (Rich Swann, Ruckus, & Alex Colon) w/ Robbie Mireno def. The Runaways w/ Kimber Lee, and their mystery partner, Alex Payne
Although BLK OUT won the battle, The Runaways may have won the war as after the match Kimber Lee took out Chrissy Rivera in a catfighting style and The Runaways drove Robbie Mireno through a TABLE!

- The CZW World Title Match between Devon Moore and MASADA was ruled a draw
Much to the disappointment of the crowd on hand, MASADA and Devon Moore were unable to finish their contest as “Ego” Robert Anthony made his return attacking both men and then demanded a title match at Cage of Death 13.  Moore, however, wasn’t going to allow Anthony to call the shots.  Moore said that Anthony would get the title match along with Scotty Vortekz, who made the initial challenge at Déjà Vu, and MASADA, who Anthony just screwed, inside the CAGE OF DEATH!

- In the main event, Sami Callihan def. Adam Cole to become the NEW CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion!
In a match that saw the destruction of every CZW referee, DJ Hyde’s head stomped in by Callihan, and Mia Yim piledriven through a table, Callihan finally got his revenge!  Unlike Cole in recent months, Callihan will immediately defend his championship in three weeks time at Cage of Death 13 against AR Fox!

Tickets for Cage of Death 13 on Saturday, December 3 at The Asylum Arena are available NOW at the CZW Pro Shop!  Get the tickets for the BIGGEST EVENT of the year NOW before you’re left out in the cold!  If you cannot make it to Philadelphia for Cage of Death 13 you still have a chance to witness the action LIVE as Cage of Death 13 will be presented on iPPV at .
