Each month, the staff at CZWrestling.com has been ranking the wrestlers of CZW based on their win-loss record, their place on the card, the crowd reaction they receive, any titles won or lost, and other intangible qualities that made that wrestler stick out from the pack. Since its inception, this list has proved to be controversial; surely it will be very much the same this month. This month we have added a “Watch Out For” section. This section is designed to highlight stars that could not break into the Top Ten, however we feel will be on the list in the coming weeks. CZW Officials have just announced a new match to take place in TWO WEEKS at the 13th Anniversary event! The BLK Jeez returns to the Combat Zone after a trip to Big Japan Wrestling to take on his archrival, Homicide! After the war seen at An Excellent Adventure, no one could imagine that match could ever be topped. But if two stars will do it, it is BLK Jeez and Homicide, two of the most outspoken wrestlers in the history of CZW.[more] Comments (0)
Over the last few months, MASADA, Robert Anthony, and Scotty Vortekz have laid claim to championship matches. All three men have challenged for Devon Moore’s championship at least twice, but all three men have fallen short of CZW World Championship glory. Earlier this week, the CZW Newsletter announced that all three men will have one more chance to challenge whoever is the World Champion following the February 4th and 11th events. But first they must face each other at February 11th’s 13th Anniversary event from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ to name the NEW number one contender![more] Comments (0)
As announced last night on the CZW Newsletter, The Runaways finally have a shot at the CZW World Tag Team Championship. The Runaways will get their shot at Azrieal and Bandido Jr. at the 13th Anniversary event from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, New Jersey on Saturday February 11th.[more] Comments (0)
