Friday night was alright for fightin' at the VOGT Rec Center in Philadelphia, PA when CZW & the Maven Bentley Association teamed up to present "The Memory Remains". Thanks to the turnout & other various donations throughout the course of the evening, almost $700 was raised to benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Keep reading for results of the event. In our opening contest, Logan Looney defeated Xerox.
In his return to MBA action, Chris Bohren defeated Anthony Vigilante.
The team of Rory Mondo & Ace Delic defeated Dez Monroe & Frank the Upload. Interference from The Front's Sozio & Trooper Audubon helped give the advantage to Mondo & Delic throughout the match.
Latin Dragon defeated Xavier Cross w/Loudy in a high flying contest.
After intermission, a scene eerily reminiscent of the VMA's broke out much to the chagrin of WSU's "Bonesaw" Jessie Brooks, who defeated Miranda Banks with special guest referee Maven "Thicke" Bentley.
In the semi main event, "Chainsaw"Joe Gacy defeated Philadelphia's own Devon Moore when Drew Blood distracted Moore. This led to "The Bulldozer" Matt Tremont storming the ring for the main event where he defeated Blood in a match that spilled out into the crowd in the VOGT Rec Center.
At the end of the evening, CZW staff members who have lost family members to Alzheimer's Disease said a few words of thanks to everyone in the building. If anyone is interested in joining the CZW team at the Alzheimer's Association's Memory Walk at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, November 10th or would care to make a donation to the CZW team, please do so by visiting Combat Zone Wrestling's Memory Walk Page. Donations can be made up until the day of the Walk. From everyone at CZW & the Maven Bentley Association, THANK YOU to all who supported this event!
