From the Press Box: Best of the Best XII Edition
Thursday, April 11, 2013 @ 05:44pm EDT

Best of the Best is the most prestigious tournament in our industry. Many have entered in the hopes of adding this trophy to their list of accolades. Those that have done so are considered by many to be the best in the world. THIS SATURDAY at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ, 12 men will enter and seek to take their career to new heights. We here at are taking time out of preparation for Saturday's event to weigh in with our picks:

CJ Becker – AR FOX – The reigning CZW Wired Champion is entering Best of the Best for the third time. For two years running, he's been the recipient of the "People's Choice" award at the conclusion of the tournament. For two years in a row, the trophy has eluded him. I truly believe the third time is going to be the charm for AR Fox & that you'll be seeing him leaving the Flyers Skate Zone with this year's trophy.

Dan Cowhey – TOMMY END – Before WrestleCon I would have said AR Fox.  But now, I have to say Tommy End.  The Sumerian Death Squad made a few new fans at WrestleCon after their five star bout with OI4K.  Tommy End is on quite the momentum especially after winning wXw’s 16 Carat earlier this year, which is a fairly accurate preview of Best of the Best (Remember Sami Callihan won both tournaments last year).  As much as I would like a homegrown talent to win, this could possibly be the year the trophy heads to Europe.

JAKE Black – ANDREW EVERETT – Since losing the silly Chiva mask last week, Andrew Everett has something to prove. He's not a silly comedy act designed to make little kids smile and fat girls feel like they have chance of bagging him. "The Apex of Agility" comes into Best of the Best, wanting to define his greatness without the cloud of a silly mask hovering over him.

Nate Stein – SHANE HOLLISTER – I've been made a fan. He's not some random showboat. He can put his money where his mouth is. This guy can wrestle circles around any competitor in the tournament and he's willing to go to any length necessary to make a win possible.

Denver Colorado - BIFF BUSICK - I feel like the industry at large is sleeping on this dude. Nobody else in this tournament has more to gain. Biff has a little bit of buzz surrounding him after his impressive showing against Drew Gulak at National Pro Wrestling Day but otherwise he's a complete unknown. Since he started competing with Beyond Wrestling last May he's grown from an intense competitor to one of the most dangerous wreslters on the scene. There's a reason Sozio has been paying Biff to do his dirty work for the past few months. Now Biff has the chance to ditch the Fedora and show the world that he is the best of the best.

A very limited amount of tickets remain for this weekend! Get yours from the CZW Pro Shop today!
