Earlier this month, CZWrestling.com was made aware that Shane Hollister would be coming to CZW at Ascension on January 12th. The response over this announcement on social media has been great. But we realize that some may not know the name Shane Hollister, as Hollister is still a relative newcomer in the world of professional wrestling. CZWrestling.com has gone out and done some research on Shane Hollister.
Hollister is a young competitor who got started at a very early age. Hollister began training while still a senior in high school in the state of Iowa. It was at that early age that Hollister began to make a name for himself in the Midwest. By 2008, Hollister was being recognized by some of the top Midwest promotions and getting championship opportunities.
Those championship opportunities eventually led to championship reigns in both tag team and singles competition. In turn, promotions along the east coast began to invite the hot commodity to compete on their top tier tournaments. However, it wasn’t until CZW’s last Midwest events that CZW Officials took notice of the high caliber talent and offered him a chance to take his game to the next level in the Combat Zone on January 12th.
With Scarlett Bordeaux at his side, Hollister will be at Ascension ready to compete. Right now, CZWrestling.com has not been made aware of what exactly Hollister will be doing on January 12th. However, with a new year upon us everyone will be looking to make their name early on in 2013.
