Mr. Tofiga Injured At Redemption

For those in attendance Saturday at Redemption, it was clear that Mr. Tofiga took a misstep and injured himself during his match with the Latin Dragon. EMTs and doctors on hand at the Ultraviolent Underground were able to quickly service Tofiga. It was determined at that time that Mr. Tofiga injured his quadriceps. CZWrestling.com now is able to give an official update on the condition of Mr. Tofiga.

The injury has been ruled as a ruptured quadriceps tendon in Tofiga’s left leg. The injury will require surgery, which is likely to take place later this week. Currently Mr. Tofiga is in a knee stabilizer for a minimum of six weeks. As of press time, doctors have not set a time table for Mr. Tofiga’s return to the ring.
