CZW Officials have just confirmed Alex Colon's next CZW Wired Championship defense. On November 2nd, Colon will defend the championship against John Silver at Night of Infamy. This match comes on the heels of Azrieal defeating John Silver and earning he and Bandido Jr. a future CZW Tag Team Championship Match. Tickets for Night of Infamy are on sale at the CZW Pro ShopNOW. For those who won't be able to join CZW in person, this event will be broadcast LIVE across the world on CZWiPPV.com. Alex Colon made his first successful championship defense last week at Cerebral, however many still believe Colon is undeserving of the championship. This is because of the controversial way he won and defended the championship. At Down With The Sickness, Colon faked an injury during the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match only for him to "steal" the championship from Shane Strickland's grasp. Last week at Cerebral, Colon seemingly planned to walk out and take a count-out loss but remain champion. Shane Strickland, however, forced Colon to be a fighting champion. Following the event, Strickland confronted Colon in the locker room demanding a match. Unfortunately for Strickland, Colon with CZW Officials' support believe Strickland should EARN a championship match. (Click here to watch the footage)
Instead of a Strickland/Colon match, the fans will be treated to a Colon/Silver match. Following two fantastic tag team contests between Silver & Reynolds and Azrieal & Bandido Jr., Silver failed at his attempt to earn a Tag Team Championship Match to Azrieal. Silver is now looking to get a bit of redemption by taking out Azrieal's friend Alex Colon for the CZW Wired Championship. Silver with the intensity unlike any other CZW competitor past or present, this could be Colon's last night at CZW Wired Champion. Then again, Colon will do ANYTHING to remain Wired Champion.
