The Wolf Of Wrestling

October 14

Combat Zone Wrestling debuted at its new home on Saturday to present The Wolf Of Wrestling.  This event featured Ethan Page’s return to the Combat Zone to accept Shane Strickland’s Open Challenge for the CZW World Championship.  The Carnies also made their in-ring Combat Zone debut when they took on  The Hooligans and Storm of Entrails in a Tag Team Deathmatch.  And after months of confrontations, Greg Excellent stepped into the ring with Ace Romero!  All this and so much more went down  at The Wolf Of Wrestling from CZW’s NEW Home…  The Rastelli Complex located at 1855 Hurfville Road in Sewell, NJ.  For results, continue reading below.  To relive all the action, head over to CZWStudios.com as the event will be made available in the coming days!

Quick Results

Kit Osbourne def. David Starr
David Starr’s losing streak continued, but the bigger story occurred after the match when Joe Gary and his horde or followers abducted the former Medal of Valor Champion.

JT Dunn w/Josh Briggs def. Johnny Silver, Space Monkey, and Trey Miguel in a 4 Way Match

Matt Palmer def. Ace Austin Shakespeare
Following the match, Palmer refused to release his submission hold on Austin.  When confronted by the official, he headbutted the official unconscious.  Note,

Shane Strickland def. Ethan Page to retain the CZW World Championship
Following the match, “Gacy” and his henchmen turned with a beaten Kit Osbourne.  “Gacy” would demand a World Championship match, otherwise he would kill Osbourne.  Matt Tremont would arrive and be convinced by Strickland to allow the match.  After that, “Gacy” would still have his men attack Osbourne.  Before Tremont and Strickland could enter the ring to assist Osbourne. Joe Gacy would emerge from behind and attack Tremont.  The Joe Gacy in the ring turned out to be Dan Barry while it was the newly signed Matt Palmer who curb stomped Osbourne.

Ace Romero vs. Greg Excellent ruled a No Contest
The men never actually started the match.  It was Greg Excellent who assaulted Romero from behind.  Meanwhile, he threatened the referees seemingly in an attempt to get the match thrown out.  He would get his wish and not have the match, but not before Romero would send him away with his tail between his legs.

Mr. Claxton def. Brandon Kirk, Alex Colon, and Rickey Shane Page in a 4 Way CZW Rules Match
Prior to the match, Brandon Kirk would attack Jimmy Lloyd and take his spot in the match.  But it was Mr. Claxton who refused to compete in the match…  Or so it seemed.  The match would essentially be a 3 Way Match that would see Mr. Claxton stealing the win without ever getting Ultraviolent!

The Carnies def. the Hooligans & Storm of Entrails in a 3-Way Tag Team Deathmatch

The Celebration of Maxwell
MJF along with Penelope Ford would celebrate his accomplishments in the Combat Zone over the last year.  However before the party could continue, a bizarre video would play showcasing a young MFJ.  The man behind the video… The Bad Boy Joey Janela!  Janela and MJF would not have a friendly meeting, in fact their encounter would turn into an impromptu Wired Championship Match!

Joey Janela def. MJF to become the NEW CZW Wired Champion
