Down With The Sickness

September 9

On Saturday, CZW presented its LAST event from the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ when it presented Down With The Sickness.  The annual Chri$ Ca$h Memorial took place as part of the first half of the double feature.  It pit The Rep against the Private Party to crown number one contenders for the CZW Tag Team Championships.  The second part was capped off on a sad note as the Combat Zone bid farewell to the greatest CZW competitor to never hold the CZW World Championship.  It was Danny Havoc’s last match against Alex Colon in a Viking’s Funeral Deathmatch!  All this and so much more went down on Saturday!  Continue reading below for results or checkout the replay coming soon to CZWStudios.com.

DJ Hyde Announces His New Business Partner
At the conclusion of Once in a Lifetime, it was revealed that DJ Hyde sold 50% of the Combat Zone to an investor.  At first, MJF came down to the ring claiming he was the new investor.  But as soon as he turned around to hug Hyde, he was met with a HUGE lariat!  The investor turned out to be the former CZW World Champion Matt Tremont!  Tremont would then go on to formally announce the move of CZW business operations to Sewell, NJ.  While Tremont was addressing the audience, Mr. Conor Claxton remained at ringside seemingly disgusted with Tremont.  Claxton would go as far as to denounce the new owner.  This led to Tremont’s first order of business…  An impromptu match with the former Wrench.

The Rep (Dave McCall & Nate Carter) def. The Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) in the Chri$ Ca$h Memorial Ladder Match to become #1 Contenders for the CZW Tag Team Championships
