Ever since the announcement by DJ Hyde, CZW management have been working hard to put together the very best, and most ultraviolent lineup possible for the Combat Zone's March 27th debut in Indianapolis! Late last night, CZWrestling.com received confirmation on the signing of a match that may not just tear down the new CZW Midwest Arena, but also the entire Combat Zone as we know it. As made official by Maven Bentley, former CZW record-setting World Champion DRAKE YOUNGER will go one-on-one with MASADA on March 27th as CZW presents "Welcome to Naptown"!

In addition, word has leaked from the Cult Fiction compound of another match signed for CZW's midwest debut. Just moments before press time, CZWrestling.com has managed to confirm the signing of another match for March 27th's "Welcome to Naptown". Representing 'Cult Fiction', J.C. Bailey and Brain Damage will team up to face Indianapolis' own Scotty Vortekz and Danny Havoc an Ultraviolent, light tube loaded, tag-team grudge match. Is Indianpolis ready for the Ultraviolence? We'll find out soon as CZW's invades Naptown!

CZW RETURNS to TELEVISION this FRIDAY NIGHT (3/5) AT MIDNIGHT!

About 7 years ago, I came home from a social function wide awake and turned on my TV. Flipping through the channels, I saw two young men in singlets, do battle in a 18 by 18 foot black and yellow wrestling ring. I did not know who these young men were but I knew I was intrigued by their athleticism. I called the channel airing the show and offered to sponsor the producers… Combat Zone Wrestling. It could not end with airing a commercial. I had to see the show live. Heck, I became part of the show after being hired by the BLK OUT. The entire course of my life changed because of a chance viewing of “Fake You TV”.

This Friday at midnight, every resident of the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware area will have the same opportunity to change their lives by simply turning on WMCN. They will receive an opportunity to become part of something bigger than them. They will have an opportunity to become part of a movement. They will have an opportunity to become a part of history as they witness the rebirth of CZW on TV. CZW “Wired” will invade the airwaves like nothing else. Fans all over the region who have never heard of CZW, will soon be chanting “Nick Fucking Gage! Nick Fucking Gage!” Fans who only have heard of “Monday night wars” will witness real warfare. This show will not feature wrestlers your grandfather watched. It will not feature match structures that your grandfather watched. “Wired” will be the epitome of CZW: innovative, aggressive, passionate, entertaining and above all else... ULTRAVIOLENT.

3/3 - B-Boy vs. Sami Callihan added to CZW's March 13th return to South Philly!

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…. The first two months of 2010 saw B Boy on an emotional roller coaster. In January, at High Stakes 4: Sky’s the Limit, B Boy achieved his lifelong dream of becoming the heavyweight champion of the world. He bested the unbeatable, longest reigning CZW champion ever in Drake Younger. The celebration was electric as fans, family and even the former champion congratulated B Boy on the accomplishment.

Fast-forward two weeks and a man who has put on some of the most memorable main events in recent history does it again, but this time, ends up on the losing end. Jon Moxley upset B Boy in his first title defense. And to compound matters, Nick Gage who won an opportunity to face the world champion any time he wishes, has decided to cash in his opportunity on March 13th at CZW’s “Walking on Pins and Needles”, pushing B Boy out of the title picture for the time being.

B Boy is a champion, with or without a title belt and he will attempt to show this against Jon Moxley’s partner and friend Sami Callihan. The New Horror undoubtedly will do whatever it takes to help his Switchblade Conspiracy brethren retain his title, including trying to disable the formidable former champion. B-Boy has his sights set on the heavyweight title, but he must not overlook Sami Callihan. “The New Horror” has proven to be one of CZW’s most deadly competitors, even besting ultraviolent everyman, Danny Havoc in the Cage of Death. Both men have agendas focused on Jon Moxley, but only one can achieve his goal. Good luck gentlemen. You will both need it.

- CZW will return to South Philly on March 13, teaming up with it's international partners at Germany's WXW for another very special Doubleheader. WXW Germany will kick off the day's action with a 230 belltime. Later tha night, CZW will round up the day at 7pm with another loaded lineup...

2/28 - Nick Gage seeks to regain his throne on March 13th at CZW's "Walking on Pins and Needles"

In the world of professional wrestling, there are those who may portray a "character", and those who simply act as an "extension" of their own self. Those fans who have followed the Combat Zone closely over the last 11+ years have seen their fair share of outrageous characters, and they've also seen the man known as Nick "F'N" Gage. Those who know the man personally, or professionally have quickly learned that Nick Gage is not a character. The ruthless, aggressive, blood-thirsty and ultraviolent persona known to fans around the world as "Nick Gage" is more than a persona, it's the real thing. Nick Gage's life revolves around wrestling, specifically... Combat Zone Wrestling, and he has just 2 goals in life.

He's not interested in the all-american dream. He has no interest in a wife, kids, or a loving family in a three bedroom house with a white picket fence. He has no interest in a 9-5 job with a Fortune 500 company. He has no pets, no hobbies, and doesn't even own a computer. He has no concern for his future, or that of anyone else. Nick Gage has no friends, only aquaintances. He has two goals in life. The first: Participate in, and more importantly WIN the annual Tournament of Death in Delaware. The second goal: WIN, and defend the CZW World Heavyweight Championship, and never, ever lose it.

Only rarely has Nick Gage veered away from his goals and priorities. When that happens, it's usually in the interest of a particular enemy who has drawn Nick's ire, and has been targeted for Ultraviolent extinction. Even then, "The Man" refuses to take his eyes off the prize, and most times, you'll have to kill him (literally) to keep him from taking what he wants. And of course, even death has had issues keeping Gage away from the ring... less than 7 days after he died in a field in Delware in 2009, a re-born Nick Gage returned to the ring in South Philadelphia to extract revenge.

He's a CZW Hall of Famer, the first ever CZW World Champion, and he's competed in more CZW matches than anyone else. He's without a doubt the most decorated competitor to ever grace the black and yellow ring, and he's created a legacy that has left most unwilling to even get in the ring with him, and even fewer who have done so, and lived to tell about it. For Nick Gage however, all the accolades in the world are worthless. He is nothing without his CZW World Heavyweight Championship, and with each passing day, it grows on his mind. On March 13th, Nick Gage will bring every last ounce of hate he has left in his body, and he will direct it towards the unfortunate new CZW Champion, Jon Moxley. Will Nick Gage be able to walk out of South Philly with the gold he still believes belongs to him? Will he once again reach the top of the Ultraviolent mountain? Or has he finally met an opponent who sees past the legacy? Can Jon Moxley survive? Can he prove that he is a real CZW Champion? He will be put to the test on March 13th as CZW presents "Walking on Pins and Needles"!

2/26 - JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH signed for March 13th's "Walking on Pins and Needles", Drake Younger looking to "Welcome" the best to Naptown!

As we discussed recently on CZWrestling.com, the Junior Heavyweight Championship has been a recent subject of controversy withing the Combat Zone. At February's 11th Anniversary celebration (available soon on SmartMarkVideo.com), the "BLK Jeez" Sabian captured the Jr. gold for a 3rd time, and did so in a disputed fashion. To many in the audience, the upstart Adam Cole appeared to have a pin of his own in place simultaneously with Sabian, which appeared to give him a rightful claim to the title. Now following a recent video message from Sabian on CZWrestling.com, CZW officials have made it official. At March 13th's "Walking on Pins and Needles", Sabian will make his first title defense against the talented youngster Adam Cole in what should be a very competitive contest. If "The BLK Jeez" doesn't come prepared, Cole is more than capable of putting all the controversy to rest in a hurry.

In addition, CZW is closing on it's long-awaited midwest debut in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. March 27th's "Welcome to Naptown" promises to be nothing short of a blockbuster debut, and one that DJ Hyde, and the hometown Naptown Dragons are promising to make an event to remember. "Naptown's" own former World Champion Drake Younger is particularly excited for CZW's midwest debut, and has issued an Ultraviolent open challenge to anyone who wants to step in to the ring with him on his home turf. The former record-setting World Heavyweight Champion contacted CZWrestling.com early this afternoon to deliver a message to the Combat Zone fans and followers:

"Everyone already knows that CZW's Indianapolis debut means a lot to me," said Younger. "I'm excited to help welcome the Combat Zone and its fans to Naptown, and show them how we do it in the midwest. 2/24 - Controversy swirls around the CZW Jr. Heavyweight Championship!

CZW's Junior Heavyweight Division is among the deepest and most diverse in all of professional wrestling. On any given night, any performer is capable of dropping jaws, making an impact, and even capturing one of the most coveted titles on the east coast. At the nightcap of CZW's Ultraviolent Anniversary, that theory rang true as the "BLK Jesus" SABIAN won a 6-Man scramble to capture the Jr. Heavyweight Championship for a 3rd time. While Sabian's bitter attitude remains unquestioned, the finish of the title match is not, and has many wondering if the right man was declared the winner. To many, the wrong man walked out with the gold. To many, the new Champion should be CZW blue chipper, ADAM COLE.

The controversy in question surrounds the pin at the conclusion of the match which saw Sabian pin then champion Greg Excellent after a brutal top rope double-stomp. During that count however, unbeknownst to the referee and on the other side of the ring, Adam Cole appeared to simultaneously pin Drew Blood at the same time. While the referee's decision is final, many fans and members of the locker room have questioned whether the right man was crowned the new Champion. Many believe the fiery CZW youngster was the first to make the pin, and has as much a right to the gold as the "BLK Jesus". The only thing that's for sure is that we haven't heard the end of this controversy, and CZWrestling.com is working hard to obtain a statement, or some kind of official message from management regarding Sabian's new reign as CZW Junior Heavyweight Champion.
