Brian Cage to Challenge for CZW World Championship

Best of the Best 16 has its entire field of competitors confirmed.  Competing in the “Grandest Tournament in CZW History” is Sami Callihan, Dezmond Xavier, Shane Strickland, Joey JanelaRicochetLio RushZachary WentzAnthony Henry“The Artist” Jake CristScorpio Sky, David StarrJason CadeDave Crist, AR FoxMichael Elgin, and Rey Fenix.  Keeping with tradition, those will not be the only men competing in Orlando.  CZW Officials have learned that Brain Cage will challenge for the CZW World Championship at Best of the Best 16.

For those unfamiliar, Brian Cage is a world travel athlete that has most recently been making waves in Lucha Libre.  He started his career in 2005 in California.  He would quickly become one of the top prospects in wrestling and would sign his first major contract in 2008 and spend a year in Florida for WWE.

Once released from his contract in Florida, he would quickly make a splash on the independent scene across the country.  He would enter Pro Wrestling Guerrilla’s famed Battle of Los Angeles in 2010 and gain the interest of promotions from across the world.  He would catapult his time in PWG into his most recent major contract with critically acclaimed Lucha Underground promotion and its big brother promotion AAA.

Despite having 20 Championship victories to his name, he feels his trophy case is empty without the CZW World Championship.
